From the time I arrived for my cataract removal and went to reception, to the time I left, after reception phoned my son to say I was ready to leave, the staff were all caring, pleasant and took my anxiety away. It was a wonderful experience.

I was terrified when I went there, they put me completely at ease and fully explained what was happening. My fears were absolutely groundless, the surgeon explained everything and I didn't feel a thing during the operation. Next eye in a few weeks and am comfortable with it. All personnel friendly and competent. Definitely recommend this practice.

Very friendly staff who made you very welcome. The first review was excellent with all staff putting me at ease and explaining the procedures. The operation went smoothly and after care was explained very clearly. I have to have the other eye done and now have no fear

excelent, everything went smoothly and i am so happy about improvement in eye after cateract surgury i was going to have to stop driving and now i have retired i may consider going back to work part time

Could not be better. Welcomed at the main entrance,taken straight to a seat and offered tea or coffee.Very professional and efficient. The person who performed the procedure was very patient in spite of my inability to relax. It was soon over and we were on our way home in no time. Thank you.

I Had both eyes cateracts removed Staff are friendly professional and welcoming Can’t do enough fo you both during and following surgery. I felt well looked after throughout Thankyou so much

I have Just had my second cataract surgery here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everything was explained clearly and I was told what was happening all through the surgery. Can't recommend them enough.

I had the first of 2 Cataract removal and lens replacement yesterday , I was very worried and apprehensive before hand , I was put at ease immediately by all of the staff including the Security Guy who made sure I was seated and given coffee & Biscuits . The Surgeon was very efficient and explained what was happening the whole way through and made sure I was kept pain free throughout, Today I have followed the instructions for removal of the eye patch and cleaning before administering the eye drops and I have to say I feel I have a new eye ! Still a bit sensitive to light but I was told that would happen . If anyone is reading this review and about to have surgery felling nervous or apprehensive be assured you have nothing to worry about , you are in very capable hands , Thank you so much to all of the team at Team Valley Gateshead Spa Medica.
