I found the whole process of being referred, first appointment and then the cataract op on one eye a very positive one. The staff, including nurses and doctors were charming, caring and prepared to give time which is important and reassuring. As far as I am concerned a success and the quick response saved much waiting time for this op, needed as the cataracts were affecting my ability to drive in a very busy life style.

This was my second cataract operation and again the service was excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Could not ask for a better service.

I have had both cataracts removed. My sight is much improved. No need for distance glasses. There was a problem after the second cataract which was rectified with good follow up treatment. All the staff at Spa Médica were extremely helpful and positive. All procedures were explained carefully and clearly. I was impressed that, from the initial referral to discharge, I was able to make appointments at times that suited me. Thank you to all at Spa Médica

I have just had my follow up appointment for my second cataract surgery with SpaMedica, Epsom. I did not think I could be more impressed with them than I was after my first cataract experience - which was wonderful - but I was! From first contact with the Patient Coordinator to the Technicians, Nurses, Optometrist and Surgeon, it was a fantastic experience. Everyone was friendly, kind, gentle, helpful and professional. I also really appreciate the level of cleanliness that is maintained throughout the entire area and, also, the offer of coffee/tea and biscuits. My second surgery was as successful as my first. I would highly recommend them for NHS cataract surgery as they were faultless.

From arriving to leaving the patient care was excellent staff were kind reassuring and putting me at ease . The nurse spent time with me explaining the aftercare .

This was my husband’s first cataract operation and from referral to surgery at SpaMedica Epsom he has received excellent care, within one month. All the staff were most welcoming, reassuring, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Information given at all stages was comprehensive (both verbal and written), delivered sensitively and the post procedure eye chart an excellent aid to recording the eye drops. The cleanliness of the facilities was exemplary. Thank you for this service and collaboration with the NHS.
