Staff were charming courteous and attentive and advised throughout what the next actions would be. Practice manager spoke to all clients to reassure us we were in safe hands. Clinic tidy immaculate. I was sure it was a private practice mopping up the NHS backlog and was shocked when we were informed that this was NHS. Ashford and St Peters could not do my cataract for at least a year this trust offered to do it in a week. Would thoroughly recommend them and my sight is already fabulous.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, they also put you at ease if you were worried. The actual operation was excellent as I didn't feel a thing and also couldn't see anything happening.

It was a pleasure to be met by a lovely friendly gentleman who check my details before going upstairs to the reception area. Every member of staff I met was considerate, friendly and explained everything very clearly to ease any worries I may have had. The operation which followed the following week after my assessment went smoothly and again everyone was very attentive and kind. Everywhere was to the highest standard of cleanliness and the facilities for hot drinks, biscuits were very welcomed. I would like to say thank you for all the amazing work you do.

From the moment the door was opened by a lovely smiley man who was very kind, until I left about three hours later, everyone was so kind and helpful. I was a bit scared but was so well looked after throughout the whole process. A special thankyou to the lovely lady who held my hand all the time. A wonderful team and job well done. Thank you all so much.

Starting with entry to the building I was greater was very welcoming and friendly thoroughly nice chap. From reception onwards the staff were friendly and calming. A nurse looked after me and was a real joy to be with. The female surgeon was welcoming, calming and professional. She talked me through the operation which apart from very minor discomfort went very well. The discharge nurse and proceedure was straight forward. The tea and biscuits very welcome. Thank you.

It would help if one was given some idea of how long one has to wait between the various stages of treatment and during the 4 stage assessment process. To sit for an hour and a half not knowing when was to be called for the next stage in a room with no TV or reading material ( I appreciate reading material may be considered un-hygienic) is boring and stressful albeit there was background music.. Sitting in a cold room does induce a need to go to the toilet , but in so doing one is afraid of losing one's place in the queue should one be called. If one was given some indication of the time delay between stages it would be helpful .
