I could not believe the speed that SpaMedica were able to assess and deliver my cataract surgery. Two weeks and one day from my optician suggesting it should be done to having it completed. All the staff are so helpful, efficient and friendly and, when the surgeon realised I am of a curious nature, he gave me a fascinating running commentary of what he was doing.

My visit was very pleasent, patient orientated , relaxed and adapted to my needs. I was assisted to manage with my disabilities. All items were verbally explained including talking me through the op.

I have attended three times since 1st june 2024, including a fire alarm scare all staff are attentive to patient need and high standard of care . All duties are carried out in a timely manner , but of course things do happen that delay target times. But patients appointment letters do clearly state that this level of care takes time and how long the operations take. It is disability & wheelchair freindly . My main problem was the need for transport & someone to escort me after operation, but we managed. All freinds of mine found the experience good also. Well done to all the staff.

Very efficient service, excellent doctors & nurses, everything explained really well & operation went very smoothly. Very thorough discharge information given. All in all a great experience, would recommend.

My mum recently had here cataract removed. The welcome and professionalism of the staff is excellent. They were patient and understanding in all aspects. Great service.

Before I arrived, I didn’t know what to expect, but on our visit, we found the premises very clean and all the staff were friendly and courteous. All the support staff (Nurses, Optometrist, etc.) were all very polite and professional. They explained their roles and what happens at the tests. The appointment for operation was earlier than I anticipated. The same positive experience was felt at the operation appointment. The Surgeon was experienced and explained me what to expect. She was explaining me the steps of operation as she was performing the operation. The whole operation lasted around 20 minutes. I was given necessary medications and dressing for home care with clear instructions how to use. The whole experience was very good and I appreciate the service provided to me by the team at the centre.

I was so nervous about having my Cataract done but everyone was so kind and put me at ease straight away. From the gentleman who greets you, the reception team, housekeeping, the nursing team and the Consultant, all made me feel confident. I went in at 8 am and was home by 11 with all the info I needed to care for my eye. I am now 3 days post op and my eye looks great and is not sore. It has really made me confident to go back for my other eye to be done later this year. Thank you to everyone for the amazing care, it was just perfect!

I had a cataract removed on the 1st June 2024 at Spamedica Coventry. It was as expected a little uncomfortable however the following day no discomfort and sight so much better . So clear and great colour. Feeling just wonderful. David Low 81 years old

Recently had 2 cataracts sorted, the way they initially relaxed me from anyone touching my eyes to being brilliant through the two procedures. The first was done by a trainee under supervision and the difference the following morning was amazing. The second a little sorer but again the difference after a few days was good. Looking forward to having good vision from now on.

Best consultant I have ever had. The pre op and the operation were explained in-depth. The staff were both professional and friendly. The building was welcoming and comfortable. I would definitely recommend using this company.
