Very quick from referral to consultation, then the operation was 2 days later. Everyone very helpful and friendly at all stages.

Having been referred to this hospital, within less than 48 hours I had been assessed. I could have had the op within 5 days, but it had to be put back for personal reasons. The op was carried out in less than a weeks. Fantastic service. The hospital was the most welcoming and friendly place you could wish to have an operation. All the staff were so professional and went out of their way to make you feel at ease. From arriving at the hospital I was kept informed of what was going to happen, and the procedure was fully explained, which was less than 2 hours from start to finish. The hospital itself, being fairly new, was beautifully clean and cared for, and there was no doubt all the staff took pride in their surroundings. The waiting areas were comfortable, and there was complementary tea, coffee and biscuits available. From feeling somewhat anxious before the op, I was made to feel at ease, and came away feeling I had made friends. What a wonderful hospital to be treated in. I can only give it my highest praise, and highly recommend it. Thanks to all the staff who looked after me, and all the staff in the operating theatre who performed the procedure. Anyone who is given the opportunity to have a procedure at this hospital, don`t hesitate, you will be well looked after and cared for.

Excellent doctors and staff. Very caring. I have had cataracts removed from both eyes. Each time the staff have put me at ease as I was nervous. Procedure was good.

Everyone is nervous undergoing a procedure that they have not had done especially when it involves your sight and remaining awake, but you need not fear this at all. As soon as you walk in though the door everyone is friendly, kind and reassuring. The whole treatment plan is explained step by step and the actual removal of the cataract is quick and pain free. I can see so much better out of the treated eye that I can’t wait to have the other one done. I would strongly recommend Spa medica they made everything stress free and painless thank you so much.

Very well organised with a steady flow of patients. All staff kind and friendly. Cataract operation - some discomfort but no pain - again lots of reassurance provided

I had my cataract surgery yesterday and was impressed by the care I received, not just on the day of my surgery but also when I had my pre op assessment. I was also impressed by the swiftness I received my appointments from the referral from my opticians to visiting the clinic. Not only did the medical staff make me feel relaxed and cared for the porter who met us on arrival made me most welcome. When it’s time to get the other eye done it will be completely worry free.

I was seen on Thursday and given a date for the operation for the following Wednesday , amazing. Staff all very kind, cheerful and efficient, explaining carefully each part of the procedure, ensuring I was comfortable with all that was going on and providing free refreshments at all times. I would highly recommend this clinic

A little apprehensive but made to feel at ease by all the staff. Day of the surgery went smoothly, All the staff worked to provide a comfortable experience.The procedure wasn't uncomfortable at any stage and lasted only 5 mins.I only had the procedure on one eye, but at some point the other eye will require surgery.Many thanks to all the staff😁
