The result of my recent op is amazing. I would like to thank the admin & nursing staff for their care & professionalism both prior & during the op. I would also like to give a special thanks to the chief surgeon( I didnt catch his name) for an excellent job.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, all questions answered and nothing too much trouble, the nurses were wonderful and made you very comfortable and of course the Doctors do a great job.

I received first class treatment from my initial assessment, the procedure itself, to my post op., assessment. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making me feel at ease all the way through. My sight in the operated eye is 100% improved. I would recommend Spamedica Chelmsford to all my friends and family.

This was my first eye surgery and not knowing what to expect the staff were so kind and friendly and saw me throu it to make it an easy process.When it comes to having my second eye done it will not be so daunting .thank you very much to all staff Mrs Sigri Mak

Appointment at 8.40. was made welcome, given a cup of coffee and called for preliminary checks spot on time. Surgery was completed successfully, I was given instructions on administering eye drops and caught a taxi home by 11.00. All the staff were helpful and totally competent.

After a fruitless wait of 12 weeks for an eye appointment GP referral to Broomfield Hospital and unable to get an answer on the phone because of staffing issues. Went to Specsavers. Referred directly by Specsavers to Spamedica, appointment 6 weeks later to confirm diagnosis. A further 8 weeks later had my cataract operation. The results stunning, very pleased. Easy process and excellent results. First day my eye watered a little and had some discomfort. This had passed by the second day. Frustrating the locum GP did not refer me to Spamedica as I had requested, claimed she could not refer directly, bizarre that Specsavers could. I was lucky, I had a friend who had been through the system so I knew how to circumvent the failure, many others will still be waiting.

I had one eye operated then the second in May. Staff and surgeons brilliant! Over 55 years being short sighted now can see without glasses, colours are so clear and bright. I just have to get used to the reading glasses now. Advice to others don’t be nervous, as you will be so well looked after. Brochure and after care great too. Thank you Spa Medica x

My experience of spa medica Chelmsford from my first appointment to my first operation was excellent. The staff were helpful, caring and showed great patience. I would 100%recommend them.

On both of my visits I found everything to be extremely good. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable which put me at ease. All procedures were carried out in a highly professional manner with great attention to the comfort of the patient. Nothing was too much trouble which made for a very positive experience.
