Had my first cataract operation yesterday afternoon & in less than 24hrs later I feel like it was done weeks ago. I honestly can't believe how well my eye feels. Had no pain, no gritty experience & its vision is unbelievably clear less than 24 hrs later, compared to the other eye. It's the clarity of the eye which is shocking me. It's insanely so clear with colours so clear. I honestly couldn't be happier with the whole experience and the staff who attended me. Thank you all at Chelmsford SpaMedica you have transformed my life.

Had my 2nd cataract surgery 24 Jan 2024, staff are so polite and reassuring. The whole team are very organised and professional and the outcome of surgery is absolutely fantastic, a huge thank you to all the team at SpaMedica Chelmsford.

Have just completed my eye drops following surgery on second eye. As before, this treatment went very well and I am delighted with my “new eyes”. The care throughout was exceptional and, despite my initial concern as to how successful the end result might be, I am so pleased with the outcome. Spa Medica just cannot be overrated, and the Chelmsford clinic have my utmost gratitude for everything and everybody. From the gentleman on the door who greeted me on arrival to the surgeon who performed the operations. Thank you.

My experience of cataract surgery was first class. There was no delay, the staff were professional and courteous and explained the procedure and after-care. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital.

Really positive experience, friendly and reassuring staff. The practice was well kept and very comfortable. This was my first procedure and I am now like a kid in a candy store, I just cant wait for my next one to be completed. Thanks to all involved in my treatment including those that carried out my initial assessment. Very well done and carry on doing what you are already doing extremely well.

Had cataract appointment 2nd January. From beginning to end, a very positive experience. Member of staff greeted us at the door, took my details and offered tea\coffee. Everyone I interacted with was polite, neat in appearance and aware of the restrictions my hearing loss causes. They were all very professional in their dealings with me. The surgeon excellent. I would have no hesitation in going back for my second eye to be done. I would advise anyone to go here

1st time for cataract surgery was a bit apprehensive but staff put me at ease immediately was a little bit scared of surgery but everything went smoothly now at home recovering

When in for my first op the surgeon was extremely good even ensuring I had extra medication to ensure no complications After one eye it is amassing I can now see a golf ball in the distance

From start to finish the service was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff throughout and very efficient. With all the negative coverage concerning waiting times this service was just amazing, waiting no longer than five to six weeks from start to finish. A big thank you to everyone involved!

From my arrival on my pre-addmission to the day of my cataract surgery (only waited 4 days) the staff were friendly, helpful and made the whole experience pain free. Thank you.
