Had my first eye done on Friday. Couldn't be happier with the results. The staff were all fantastic couldn't have asked for anything better. Hopefully next eye in 6 weeks. Thank you all very much.

Excellent experience having my first eye op last week. All went very well due to the professional caring team at Spamedica.A lovely modern immaculate clinic. Everything explained very well. Very happy to have second eye done in a few weeks. Thank you so much

The initial consultation was thorough , professionally administered, friendly and expert staff. The (first of two) cataract operation was also of the same high standard, and all of the staff, the nurses, the surgeon the reception staff etc were professional, friendly and performed the procedure swiftly and without pain. Aftercare and instructions for self care were thorough and explicit, all my questions and concerns were answered in detail, and, although this is the same morning my vision appears much improved, although still waiting for the after effects of pupil dilation and local anaesthetic to wear off. Highly recommended.

I recently had my cataract procedure at spamedica Blackpool. The service, staff, along with the treatment was outstanding. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. First class service start to finish.

Had left and right eye procedures. On both occasions consultants, nursing staff, and all ancillary staff were exceptionally professional, and friendly. The eye centre was also very clean, comfortable and inviting. Well done all!!

From the first greeting..very informative & the rest of the staff the same. Friendly & seemed happy to be working there. Made you feel relaxed. Excluding the procedure as I felt unprepared. I think a discussion about what lens I was being given would have helped me. Why was that lens chosen, what does it mean? I probably should have asked before I had the procedure, but until I was there, I never thought about it, until I saw a list of lenses & the surgeon said, “ah, this Len’s-has been chosen for you. Why? What does ‘that’ lens mean? Even 5 days later I cannot see clearly out of it and it does concern me. Hopefully all will be ok on my check up?! But quite nervous. Other than that everything about the experience was the best experience I have had with the NHS. The calm environment, the happy staff. The receptionist knowing your name & treating you like a person & not a number, was just lovely. I would recommend 100%.

We’d encourage you to follow the advice in our post-operative booklet and continue using your eye drops as prescribed. Hopefully your symptoms should ease soon. All staff are excellent, the procedure was painless. First eye cleared well and now awaiting to see if second eye clears the same. Very professional procedure and nursing staff follow up was excellent.
