I called for a heart monitor to be fitted, a simple procedure but was, nevertheless rather nervous. The young guy in charge couldn't have been more friendly and reassuring and the whole thing took less than 15 minutes. The environment was clean and well presented and the benefit of ample free parking made a really welcome change from the rip off car parking charges in Eastbourne DGH!

I was terrified before going in but needn't have worried. All the staff are so friendly and caring. Each procedure was fully explained. The whole experience was amazing. I will not be so worried when I have to have the other cataract removed. Thank you to everyone.

The excellence of the cataract lens replacement service provided by this clinic sets a standard that would be hard to beat and demonstrates what can be achieved with well managed motivated staff. I have now had both eyes treated in exactly the same cheerful,effective and sensitive manner.The working pattern used to provide a specialist repetitive treatment should be applied wherever practicable throughout the NHS. This clinic restored my faith in the NHS

I received an appointment for the pre-assessment within a short time, also the appointment for the cataract op a week later. Both appointments were carried out very efficiently and gave me great confidence to have the cataract surgery. The clinic and staff was run very cheerfully and efficiently.

From entering the hospital for the first time to leaving after my second cataract surgery I couldn’t have asked for better treatment from all staff members. The hospital is an example of a well thought out and efficient system that allows for patient care at every stage. I have been truly amazed and so very grateful that I was able to use Spamedica and get such outstanding treatment. Without doubt a perfect model of how routine surgery can be undertaken quickly, efficiently and with great focus on the patient. Many thanks to all at the hospital, you are amazing.

I was nervous going to get my cataract done. But as soon as I arrived I started to relax. The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you. The surgeon had my cataract replaced so quickly and painlessly. Brilliant place to go for eye surgery. I would recommend them to everyone needing this op.
