On the 29th June l left my first review after having my right eye operated on. Today l had my left eye operated on. I am going to cheat a little and just say l wholeheartedly agree with all the superb comments already made about all the staff at Bexhill. Thank you all.

I have just had my second cataract surgery and again the staff were all very friendly helpful and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Spamedica to all my friends. Thank you.

My experience was very good and efficient. All the staff had a job and got on with it very well. I would recommend this practice to anyone in the future.

I had cataract surgery. Everyone was kind and explained procedures. I was highly anxious, so I found the experience stressful. Waiting in the waiting room while my pupils dilated, with 4 other talkative, restless people wasn't relaxing. Waiting in the corridor immediately post surgery with 5 people sat opposite, watching me, was not comfortable either. The rest of the care was good, but I wished they'd given me some pain relief before the drive home. It was hot and sunny and my sunglasses were not protection enough from the glare. There had been a fatality on a nearby road, so a 20 minute drive home took well over an hour. My eyes were sore and scratchy. If I'd had pain relief at the clinic, or the instructions had made it clear that I should bring pain relief with me, to take post op. That uncomfortable drive may have been more comfortable. I should also have sat in the back taxi style. I'll know for next time.

I didn’t know this hospital existed when my Optician referred me. Within a week I was notified about having the pre-assessment at SpaMedica. In the same week I received an appointment to come and have my cataract operation done. I was really pleased to have the operation done so quickly. There really is no need to be worried or concerned about attending SpaMedica as you are well looked after when you arrive. Nothing is rushed the staff give you time and explain everything clearly and precisely and ask you constantly if you have any questions. This is day 1 after my operation and apart from a little discomfort which is perfectly normal I am fine. But please read the booklet you are given carefully as it will tell you all you need to know. This will hopefully allay all your concerns. You are definitely very well looked after by a team of outstanding individuals who strive to make your visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Thank you once again.

Such a lovely place to go to. All staff and doctors were extremely friendly and polite and every aspect was very well explained. I had a Cataract removed which was completely without any pain. Actually looking foreward to having my other eye done. . It was very nice to find everyone so friendly and they all smiled when spoken to..

Recently attended Spamedica Bexhill for my second Cataract surgery, the service is outstanding from the moment you walk into the reception, till you leave after surgery. You are treated with respect and care from start to finish by all members of staff. Would recommend this surgery without hesitation. Thankyou everyone.
