The staff were very pleasant and reassuring. I found that they all appeared to be highly skilled and competent in their areas of specialism but also managed to maintain a very human, person-centred approach to their patients. Although a little apprehensive at first, I found the approach of the staff made the whole experience as comfortable as possible.

Absolutely brilliant. - staff so friendly and reassuring. Only one negative comment- why is the booklet not given out at assessment rather than being posted separately?

Within days of being referred Mum was called for a pre op assessment at the end of which she was booked in for 3 days later. Procedure went well and now due for other cataract to be fixed tomorrow, 6 weeks after the first. The staff are lovely, everything is explained, no rushing, very helpful and considerate. All very clean, friendly but professional.

Had first cataract surgery this week. Very impressed with the care and attention from all the staff. Procedure and aftercare explained in detail. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Spa Medica Bedford by my local opticians, having been advised that Addenbrookes hospital had a two year cataract operation waiting list. I was treated within three weeks of referral. The cataract op was painless and every member of staff could simply not have been kinder. Spa Medica Bedford also noticed that I needed YAG lasering and did this too a couple of weeks later. I was using a magnifying glass to read and now have perfect vision. Faultless service which I highly recommend. Thanks you all at Spa Medica Bedford - you have my eternal gratitude.
