SpaMedica were in contact very quickly following referral and once accepted for treatment were equally quick offering operation dates. Once attending for operation, the process is very slick and my 1st eye took just 2 hours start to finish. The 2nd eye was even quicker being in and out in just about 1 hour. This is exactly how routine surgery should be, organised, focussed, professional and timely.

A well organised and efficiently run facility. Referrals and booking in were quick. There was very little waiting between treatments and refreshments were available. All staff were helpful, kind and attentive. The best medical facility that I have ever been in!

I had a cataract removed from my left eye and felt quite nervous about it. Patients go through various stages before they have the operation. Staff were very supportive during these stages, explaining what would be happening. The operation itself didn't last very long. The after care was good too, with a welcome cup of tea! I need to have a cataract removed from my right eye next and now do not feel nervous about it.

Had my left eye operated on 21/10/2022,all staff were polite and explained exactly what they were doing. The procedure went well,and have had no problems. Look forward to having my right eye done.

I had my cataract surgery recently. The experience was excellent. I was talked through every aspect of the operation as I was nervous which made me feel more relaxed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were spotlessly clean. My husband also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and biscuits which made his wait time easier. The whole procedure from assessment to the operation was very swift and I would recommend you to anyone needing eye surgery. Thank you again. Jill.

Just 12 days from referral to operation. All staff were professional, friendly and helpful at all times - nothing was too much trouble. Everything was fully explained throughout the procedure. The facility is modern, bright and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Thank you very much for your excellent service from pre-op to right cataract in July, and left cataract today 8.9.22 The service was first class from meet and greet, through the complete process and could not be faulted. Everyone was friendly, helpful, reassuring and doing an excellent job. I have heard excellent reports from friends, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you . Thanks very much.

I went to Spa Medica not knowing anything at all about cataract procedures, and feeling rather anxious. This was unnecessary as the whole procedure from initial consultation through to second cataract procedure was faultless. The staff were all kind and courteous and explained everything that was happening. I had the best experience I believe I could have had with regards to cataract procedures. I would highly recommend this practice.

All members of staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful, made my experience while waiting and being treated there very reasureing and pleasant. My eye sight is now amazing cant thank them enough.
