Review titled bad service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Sheila Bordley - Posted on 26 February 2024
Tried to contact surgery today since 8am, I've rang constantly all day, even had my phone on repeat speed dial. How can the phone be engaged all day? It is now 5.45 and it's still engaged

Review titled Poor online service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by ROBERT NICHOLAS HOOPER - Posted on 29 December 2023
I tried to access online to get a fit note that the G.P. had kindly agreed to in a scheduled phone appointment. It was texted but required online username and password. Having previously had these, I tried to log on. On line message 'Invalid user details'. I go to the surgery personally. I am given the same user name as before with a new password. Guess what ? I type the new details and get 'Invalid user details or password ' again. I really think this surgery needs to respect that not everyone is young and nimble anymore, and offer assistance to ensure that if necessary, there is personal assistance at the surgery to help people log on. After all, why should I be deprived of being able to access online services because your system doesn't work ??

Review titled Could do better
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Marilyn - Posted on 27 April 2023
I am being treated for cancer & received a letter from the surgery offering a "Cancer Care Review" offering an appointment with a GP. On telephoning, the receptionist had never heard of it & after discussion she decided to talk to someone & phone me back. On her call back I was told that the Review is usually a couple of weeks after diagnoses whereas letter said "in a few months" & I was told if I had a problem contact consultant, couldn't get an appointment. Left feeling that this surgery has no support of Cancer sufferers.

I have been really unwell with bowel bleeding, pain and fever upper and lower acute pain, had to econsolt as there were no appointments I got an email saying I would be contacted in 2 days I was contacted by text on the 2nd day to say I would be reviewed by a clinician in,1 week 1day from this message but if things, got worse or changed to contact the surgery, I tried,as it all got worse with bowel bleeding, to be told to ring back later on for routine a apptt !! If any were avalible,or call,999 at what point, is a doctor actually going to say,we need to see you ? my illness,is acute historic and needs treatment when it happens , I wanted to get a referral to be seen privately for an mri as this is the only way I'm going to get help,,when someone's condition esculates and is so acute and they have been advised to call for medical advice to be refused it,what happens then, everyone else managed to return to normal, work practice, I mean every one except doctors???, this system will cause preventable illness to esculate preventatable death to occur, because people are not seen when they need to be, what exactly has my life times worth of national insurance contributions gone into? Always a really poor service, full of excuses here , after almost 40yrs here I'm changing, drs as other surgery's seem better equipped and more willing to serve.,At some point my life may depend on my choice of surgery
