  1. Review titled Good experience of therapy

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I waited over 2 years for psychological services and it was worth the wait. I received therapy from a trainee psychologist who was on placement at quayside from Wolverhampton University. The treatments were every two weeks which is good for people who struggle with mental health and need support. I have seen private services offering their therapy every week, however I think that is too close together as the client needs a sense of autonomy and able to not be so reliant on the therapist for support. The point of therapies is to help the client with tools to enable the clients to live their lives as independently as they can. My therapy was great for what I needed. However, I have complex PTSD and complex life long problems that may need other interventions. However, overall I wanted to share a very good experience I had with this service. I hope that this review is picked up by the University and sent back to my psychologist.
