  2. Review titled Brilliant service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Arrived at around 4.45 as a walk in and was seen within an hour. Friendly admin staff and an equally friendly nurse practitioner. Triage only service was displayed because it was late in the day however I've a simple ear infection and was given a prescription. More than happy with the service provided especially given my own GP couldn't find an appointment for another week!

  3. Review titled Waste of time. Pointless service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Spoke to 111 who advised I go here in two hours to be seen. On arrival was told it's only a triage service and no medications would be prescribed. Queried it with 111 who said they are down as giving treatment. Waste of time and money in a taxi. Don't bother

  4. Review titled Awful, lazy, rude staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

Attended today with severe throat pain with clear white spots on one tonsil and has worsened over 4 days to be rudely told by the triage nurse there is nothing at all wrong and to get on with it like the rest of us, whilst she gave a her own little fake cough for dramatics. Exactly the same treatment was given to my husband there two weeks ago, despite being diagnosed with strep A the following day and was really unwell. It feels like they're in a competition with themselves to get through the queue by triaging people and sending sick people away. Very upsetting to come away feeling like you have made it up despite feeling really unwell in a lot of pain. To be told to buy throat sweets if I feel like it's sore. I don't just feel like it is sore, I know it is sore and havent slept for 4 nights! So disappointed in their lack of service and compassion.

  5. Review titled Amazing caring staff member

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Nicola Martin - Posted on 04 January 2023

I attended with my daughter and we were both quite ill. We were called to triage and despite it being really busy and the staff under huge strain the staff member was amazing! I could have cried with how they helped us out. Quick, efficient and extremely understanding. Thank you so so so much!

  6. Review titled Atrocious Service and lazy staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

On 30th November 2022 I had a fall which resulted in me attending the walk in on 1 December 2022. I can't fault the service I received on this evening and had a very though examination off an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. On the 8th December 2022 I was advised by my GP, an ANP from the out of hours service and two local pharmacy's to attend the walk in due to severe wounds from the fall becoming severely infected and the requirement for them to be specifically dressed.. I attended the walk on this evening about 7pm and was advised no more patients were being booked in as it was busy and to.come back 10 December 2022. I attended the walk in at approximately 2 15pm. The waiting area was reasonably empty. I waited two hours to be triaged only to be told by the nurse. "There are a lot of sick people out there and you won't get seen" . I was advised that I would need to come back! I politey asked what type of dressing she would recommend. To which she retorted I don't know I've not seen the wounds " . I asked her for the telephone number of the Sefton Rd clinic. To which she replied "I don't know you will have to Google it" This lazy, unprofessional excuse of a medic overshadowed the excellent service I received on 1 December 2022.

  7. Review titled Staff sitting in a do not sit area

Rated 1 star out of 5

Your Cleaner is sitting in chairs when waiting room full and I have high anxiety so couldn’t enter and there’s a section of seats ‘reserved/blocked’ and as a parent I have to wait to be seen with my child and stand up yet these staff are adamant these chairs can’t be sat in, I will be complaining to PALS about this as it’s totally unacceptable as I don’t wanna talk in front of everyone explaining why I can’t go in waiting area as it’s not everybody’s business!! Tell staff to stand up if we as patients/parents have to stand up!!
