Rang in to arrange an appointment post a course of medication, told only 1 appontment available which to attend for a non-urgent condition would mean not attending work which i obviously didnt want to do. Then told no more appointments available, cant book a appoitment for week or month in the future, and that I would have to spend time daily ringing in at more cost of time/effort to see if anything was available that day. After asking if this was standard practice and why future bookings cant be made got a sob story about people off sick and this was the way of things and no options existed and told that was it and hung up phone on me. Absolutely digusting phone manner.

phoned for appointment to have stitches removed. Told no appointments available and would have to go to Stroud. Asked to speak to supervisor and told that was who I was speaking to and where I had operation should do it. Tried to explain that was not the case as operation had been done via private arranged by NHS but removal of stitches had to be down by practice. Person did not appear to like being corrected and before giving me details of where I would have to go slammed phone down on me. Tried phoning back to get number but presume she recognised number and slammed phone down again. Not to be outdone then used my mobile and got someone else who gave me number in Stroud. Having always found staff helpful in the past found this person attitude appalling. Fortunately cannot give you a name but as you say all calls are recorded should be easy for you to find.

Always really impressed with how efficient Hadwen are and how caring all staff are. I am always made to feel so welcome and at ease when coming for any appointments. I am overall really impressed with how brilliant this practise is and how hardworking the staff are!
