Review titled Wrong diagnosis!
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 August 2024
I waited 3 hours to be told I had an allergic reaction to something which they didn’t know, told me to get on the shelf medication. I took myself to research the condition to notice it was scabies! When I wanted to call the practice to inform them of this error, no one answered the phone. Terrible service and made my condition worsen

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The doctor was excellent. He examined my problem very carefully and gave me good advice in an unhurried way. He then gave me a prescription for two items. I could not have expected more from the service.

Staff were kind and helpful. Having visited on a day when the global IT outage meant that they had to revert to paper and pens, I was really impressed with the efficient way that they overcame the challenges. I felt listened to, treated with respect and they sorted out my health issue.

Review titled Bad experience
Rated 1 star out of 5

I have a chest infection that was confirmed after this, I went into the clinic because I was suffering a lot and the doctor didn’t even look at my chest he just told me to look around at everyone else struggling and be grateful. I told him about the mould in my house and it making me ill, instead of receiving advice on treatment he told me I should just move out then. I could barely get a word in and was just shooed out after waiting for two hours at the clinic.

Review titled Excellent Practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Went to the practice with a minor skin condition. The reception staff were both friendly and very helpful. It was very busy and had to wait a while to be seen and the practice nurse was friendly and very professional. I found the whole experience excellent and cannot praise all the staff and this facility enough. I came away with peace of mind and advice about dressings etc.

I attended at 8am on a Sunday morning with a severe ear infection. I was seen within 40 minutes by a brilliant doctor who prescribed antibiotics and drops. Fantastic service run by polite and caring staff.

Review titled Very poor experience

111 said I needed to be seen within two hours and they would send my info to the walk in centre. On their website, it said the wait time was 1h 30 mins. I arrived at 1820 to be told they would not see me even though they don’t close till 8pm. ‘We only have one doctor and she’s rammed’. Told me to go to A& of time and money in taxis. They should put on the website if they are full and advise 111 to stop sending folk.
