Review titled Staff indifference
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Paula Whittaker - Posted on 05 July 2024
Having had the 3 hour wait to be seen I was met by an unsmiling terse nurse who wasn’t really interested and I got the treatment required in 2 minutes, having been told to attend by my GP practice, who should have dealt with it. Whilst leaving the treatment room I clearly heard one of the staff saying ‘What are they doing out there, they come for a day out. They are sitting there eating crisps’. Bearing in mind most of the people they were talking about had been sitting there from 11am till 2pm I don’t think it unreasonable that the patients are using the vending machine on site to get a bite to eat. What is unreasonable is the attitude of the staff. As a retired State Registered Nurse I was very unimpressed.

Just wanted to say thank you to one of the nursewho treated my mum last week. So efficient and kind. She went above and beyond to make sure my mum had the best treatment and access to services thereafter.

Review titled Fire alarm faulty in waiting room please fix asap
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Lisa Prior - Posted on 28 April 2024
Please can the faulty fire alarm be repaired. This went off during our wait for care. It is a high pitched ringing which was very disturbing to already unwell patients. The reception staff advised it would turn off on its own. Members of staff where heard to remark about the fault being present for some time. Please can this be repaired to ensure patient safety as it is a faulty fire alarm. Please can it also be addressed due to the undue distress and discomfort caused to patients and staff.

My son was unwell and breathing worse. He really struggles with medics but our practitioner was great with him, very reassuring and really helped. Thank you
