  1. Review titled Brilliant in all respects

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I wish to congratulate the trust for the care, consideration and courtesy with which I have been treated throughout the discovery and journey of lung cancer treatment. I have met exemplary conduct through a&e, wards and particularly the Macmillan treatment centre where my fourth and possibly final chemotherapy session has just been completed. Congratulations to all staff and thank you.

  2. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I recently had major surgery at QEH and the level of care was exceptional. From being admitted into Holmes unit, through to surgery and then through to the Sandringham unit for aftercare was brilliant. Everyone was kind, caring and made me feel at ease as I was very scared ( never stayed in hospital before apart from having my 2 children ). Thank you to you all from the bottom of my heart

  4. Review titled excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My 86 year old mum called an ambulance at 11.30pm on Monday 05/0802024. The ambulance crew were first class and could not have been kinder. At the QE hospital mum was assessed, tested and blood work done all while still in the ambulance ( lack of space in A&E) not the staff's fault. The ambulance crew kept her comfortable and in good spirit's with their cheeky banter. By 3am mum was out of the ambulance and in A&E proper. After more tests and a trip to x-ray she was allowed home around 4pm. The staff, nurse's, doctor's and consultants were all fantastic. A big thank's too you all. A special shout out to the crew of ambulance 175 who are from Bury St Edmunds, you guy's are the best. mum is recovering well, our NHS is the best.

  5. Review titled Unbelievable Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Alan Smith - Posted on 29 August 2024

On the evening of July 30 my late wife was admitted to A & E . She was transferred to Windsor and Oxborough wards. On August 3 she had to have emergency surgery and was admitted to CCU where sadly she passed away.I would like to thank all the staff of all wards concerned for their professionalism, care and support.Especially CCU where their compassion, treatment and care went beyond all expectations. In her final moments she, myself and family were treated with the utmost dignity and compassion, thank you for everything. The NHS may be broken but the staff of Queen Elizabeth Kings Lynn excelled in everything they did. Thank you again Alan Smith

  6. Review titled Wonderful Staff

I recently spent at night at QEH Kings Lynn. The staff from initial ambulance journey through A&E and into West Raynham ward were brilliant. Caring, supportive and professional. I could not have wished for anymore at a very worrying time. Thank you QEH 👍

  7. Review titled Wonderful staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mary Trindle - Posted on 21 June 2024

After a 9 day stay in QEH I was impressed with the kind, caring and efficient staff, including porters and cleaners and every one else. A shortage of beds - and pillows - were a constant problem. I was moved from resus to M ward? AMU, Windsor and Elm and apart from a few hours in M? I had the best of care. It amazed me the staff keep so smiley and kind with all the shortages of staff, noise from building work and all the other problems. The food had improved so much since my last visit a couple of years ago, and some of the vegetarian and vegan options were excellent. Cleaning seemed constant and thorough. Thank you all.

  10. Review titled Worst hospital ever been to

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Mark gordon - Posted on 25 April 2024

Came in by Ambulance. Was told after sitting on a chair for 30 mins bloods would be taken. These where but then sat on a trolley at least 2 hours. In these 2 hours i was told by the 1st of 6 doctors would be another set of bloods then x ray then see if i could go home. I would see 5 more doctors before i entered a ward and had to explain the story of what happened to each of them. Don't they communicate??? Once on the ward 6 hours later still no xray still no doctor to potentially discharge me. Also when i entered i had asked for a nicotine patch. 5 hours and no patch. So i discharged myself. Tuesday i went to norwich university hispital. Exact same procedure but with a huge difference. In the same time. 2 sets of bloods done to compare. Xray done. Nicotine patch done. Different doctors not asking what happened all knew from when i entered. Bp done every hour. Diabetes bloods done every hour. A dictor came to my bed 10pm and did an ultrasound and solved the problem. 03.00am the last dictor came gave me all clear to go after breakfast. With added meds. Kings lynn 1 out of 10 Norwich university hospital 11 out of 10. I notice the reviews on here 3 stars or less no comments. Which makes reviewing hypocritical. I am setting up a case for high courts.
